From its beginning, the Kauai Beer Company has defied convention, letting the beer lead the way. A father and son family owned business, Kauai Beer Co. opened their doors to the public in the Fall of 2013. There are a number of amazing draft beers all brewed in house, including the popular Lihue Lager, named after the small island town of it's origin. They also have cider, wine and more for all those who want something different from beer. On the culinary side of things, The Kauai Beer Co. is going over and beyond the call of duty on good food. They are adding a major gourmet touch to their dishes. Here are a few of the favorites, just to name a few: Tempura Beer Battered Lawai Oyster Mushrooms (Lihue Lager battered), Koloa Rum Sweet Potato and Mushroom Samosas, Jalapeno Ginger Taro Cakes, Kauai Banger and Mash (house made beer braised beef and pork bratwurst with a coconut green chili taro-potato mash!) and there is so much more, it's too much to mention.
